waltonitone (10 μM, 25 μM; for 48 hours) results in an increment of sub-G1 population in BEL-7402 cells.
Waltonitone (25 μM; for 48 hours) induces BEL-7402 apoptosis cells.
Waltonitone (25 μM; for 48 hours) can effectively activate caspase-3 in BEL-7402 cells.

in vivo

Waltonitone (iv; 20 mg/kg or 50 mg/kg; once every two days for 16 days) inhibits BEL-7402 tumor growth in male athymic mice (BALB/c nu/nu) in vivo. < br/>
