Description
m-PEG4-bromide is a PEG linker containing a bromide group. The bromide (Br) is a very good leaving group for nucleophilic substitution reactions. The hydrophilic PEG spacer increases solubility in aqueous media.
Biological Activity
Triethylene Glycol 2-Bromoethyl Methyl Ether is a cleavable ADC linker for the synthesis of antibody drug conjugates (ADCs) of trastuzumab (HY-P9907). It was placed distal to the monomethyl auristatin E (MMAE) payload to generate ADCs with altered hydrophilicity, antigen binding and in vitro potency. Tetraethylene glycol monotosylate can also be used as a linker of PROTAC, which can be used for the synthesis of PROTAC.
