Tricyclohexylphosphine[3-phenyl-1H-inden-1-ylidene][1,3-bis(2,4,6-triMethylphenyl)-4,5-dihydroiMidazol-2-ylidene]rutheniuM(II) acts as a catalyst in cross-metathesis reactions. In addition it is used in the preparation of Weinreb amide pyrrolidines.
