What is rhodamine 3G?
Preparation
3-(Dimethylamino)phenol (1 Moore) and Phthalic anhydride?(1 Moore) condensation, the products with 3-Amino-4-methylphenol?by condensation, then ethyl ester.
Properties and Applications
bright blue light pink. Soluble in water is cherry red, with brown fluorescence, soluble in ethanol for big red, a green fluorescent. The strong sulfuric acid for yellow, diluted in red. The dye solution to join strong sodium hydroxide solution have big red precipitate.
