The Uses of QUIN 2 POTASSIUM HYDRATE
Quin 2 Potassium Salt Hydrate is a preparation of the fluorescent Ca2+ chelator that presents a fluorescent signal upon chelation of Ca2+ ion. Quin 2 has been deployed in studies investigating cytoplasmic free Ca2+ concentrations in cells, and is used to measure and manipulate the Ca2+ concentrations for investigation.
