Phenyl Vinyl Sulfone is a synthetic inhibitor of cysteine protease and has antihelminthic and antiprotozoal properties. Phenyl Vinyl Sulfone is also an inhibitor of transpeptidase SrtA required for cell wall protein anchoring and virulence in Staphylococcus aureus.
