Definition
ChEBI: N,N-dimethylformamide-d7 is a deuterated compound, a member of formamides and a volatile organic compound.
General Description
N,N-Dimethylformamide-d7 (DMF-d7) is a deuterated NMR solvent containing 0.03% (v/v) TMS (tetramethylsilane). It is useful in NMR-based research and analyses. Pulsed neutron diffraction measurements of different concentrations of molar lithium chloride (LiCl) solutions in DMF-d7 have been carried out to investigate the chloride ion solvation.
