Naphtha shale oil hydrocracked solvent refined light is a complex combination of hydrocarbons obtained as the raffinate from solvent extraction of hydrocracked shale oil. It consists of hydrocarbons having carbon numbers predominantly in the range of C5 through C11 and boiling in the range of approximately 35.degree.C to 190.degree.C (95.degree.F to 374.degree.F).
