The Uses of N-ME-HIS-OH HCL
N-Methyl-L-histidine Hydrochloride is a salt analog of N-Methyl-L-histidine (CAS# 24886-03-1) and can be a useful reagent for the preparation of acylsulfanylhistidines as precursors to the corresponding sulfanylhistidines and disulfides. It can also be useful in the study of betaine and ovothiol biosynthesis.
