The Uses of N-Acetyl Lorcaserin
N-Acetyl Lorcaserin is an impurity of Lorcaserin (L469890, HCl); a novel selective 5-HT2C-receptor agonist for the treatment of obesity. N-Acetyl Lorcaserin is also used as a reagent in the synthesis of isoquinoline, isoindoline, and benzoazepine amides as therapeutic modulators of the histamine H3 receptor.
