General Description
This stable-labeled internal standard is suitable for quantiation of morphine levels in urine, serum, or plasma by LC/MS or GC/MS for urine drug testing, pain prescription monitoring, clinical toxicology, forensic analysis, or isotope dilution methods. Morphine is a very potent opiate analgesic drug used to relieve both acute and chronic severe pain. Sold under trade names including MS Contin?, Kadian?, Oramorph?, and Roxanol, morphine is also a commonly abused recreational drug due to its widespread availability and high potential for addiction.
