LPYFD-NH2 is a neuroprotective peptide that binds to amyloid beta (Aβ). LPYFD-NH2 protects neurons against toxic effects of Aβ (1-42) in vitro and in vivo. LPYFD-NH2 is a potential therapeutic in the treatment of Alzheimer''s Disease.
