What is KORSEVERINE?
Description
A further steroidal type alkaloid obtained from Korolkowia sewerzowii Rgl., this base has a specific rotation of [α]D + 82.5° (c 1.21, MeOH).1t forms crystalline salts and derivatives including the hydrobromide, m.p. 292°C; hydriodide, m.p. 294-5°C and the methiodide, m.p. 268-270°C.
