Cell-permeable, yellow fluorescent dye supplied as free acid. Used for the synthesis of Janelia Fluor? HaloTag? and SNAP-Tag? ligands for use in live cell imaging experiments (Grimm et al 2017) . Also suitable for flow cytometry.
