What is JACULADINE?

Description

A reduced proaporphine alkaloid found in Croton linearis Jacq., this base has [α ]D- 164.7° (c 0.59, MeOH). The alkaloid contains two hydroxyl groups, one methoxyl and one imino group. The ultraviolet spectrum exhibits two absorption maxima at 207 and 280 mμ.
