What is Grosvenorine?
The Uses of Grosvenorine
Grosvenorine flavin is a characteristic component of Fructus Momordicae, which has antioxidant, antibacterial, anti-complement and other activities. It can be used as an ideal natural yellow pigment for food and beverage colorants, with high chroma, safety and no toxic side effects.
Preparation
Take the dried dried fruit of Monk Fruit, crush it into a coarse powder, elute with alcohol, perform SephadexLH 20 column chromatography, and recover the solvent under reduced pressure to obtain Grosvenorine.
Biological Activity
Grosvenorine is the main flavonoid in Luo Han Guo. It has good antibacterial and antioxidant activity.
