What is Graphene nanoplatelets/Polypropylene pellet?

The Uses of Graphene nanoplatelets/Polypropylene pellet

  • Injection Molding - Faster processing and cooling, less thermal energy required
  • Extrusion - Faster processing, less thermal energy required, better melt uniformity
  • RotoMolding - Faster processing and cooling, better heat distribution, less thermal energy and material required
  • CNC Machining - Faster processing and better melt stability
  • Film Production - Faster processing, thermal uniformity, fewer defects

General Description

A ready-to-use pellet form of graphene nanoplatelets/polypropylene nanocomposite made by uniformly mixing graphene nanoplatelets (>10 layers) into a polypropylene matrix.

Besides the desired properties of polypropylene, which includes chemical, moisture and fatigue resistance, this nanocomposite offers:

  • Increased Tensile Strength and Modulus
  • Increased Impact Strength
  • Increased Flexural Stregnth and Modulus

Furthermore, the high thermal conductivity of the added graphene nanoplatelets, along with the uniform distribution of the graphene nanoplatelets inside the composite, enables higher manufacturing efficiencies by reducing the energy cost during the application of the polymer material. The low density and high strength of this composite material requires less material to achieve the same or better proformance, thus allow a lightweight design of your device.
