1. It has a special emulsifying effect on amino silicone oil and dimethyl silicone oil. Compared with the general silicone oil emulsifier, the amount of emulsifier is less, the emulsion is more stable, and it has strong penetrating power, which can penetrate into the fiber.

X-080 was used as the mobile phase component in a high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) separation study of the selected herbicides using hydro-methanol-micellar liquid chromatography[1]. It was used for the preparation of irritant polymer samples for in vitro cycling studies[2]. In addition, it can be used as an effective solvent for microwave-assisted extraction of flavonoid alkaloids[3].
