What is FERETINE?
Description
A peptide alkaloid, feretine has been obtained from the leaves of Feretia apodanthera. It furnishes colourless crystals from cyclohexane and is laevorotatory having a specific rotation of [α]578- 139° (c 1.0, CHC13).
