What is Direct Yellow 96?
Properties and Applications
Bright green light yellow. Tender yellow powder, soluble in water. The strong sulfuric acid dyes to purplish red color, diluted into deep yellow; In strong hydrochloric acid for of yellow, diluted into a brown, precipitation; In the thick of sodium hydroxide solution not dissolve, diluted for yellow. The dye solution to join strong sulfuric acid into deep yellow; Join dilute sulphuric acid color becomes dark; Join after strong hydrochloric acid turn to deep; Sodium hydroxide solution to dilute the same color. Water-soluble is very good. In dyeing copper and iron ion color first obvious to become red. Can be used for cotton, viscose and blended fabric, wool dyeing and printing directly, not normally used for discharge. Also used in paper and leather color.
