Unlike its?MAPbI3 analogue, it is stable under ambient conditions for several months .?DMAPbI3 has a relatively large?optical gap (Eg ～ 2.59 eV), indicating the conductivity of such material is ionic, instead of being electronic.
The Uses of dimethylammonium iodide
The iodide and bromide based alkylated halides find applications as precursors for fabrication of perovskites for photovoltaic applications.
