Dimethyl chlorophosphate may be used for the preparation of (E)-3-cyanophosphoenolpyruvate, by reaction with the potassium enolate of ethyl cyanopyruvate. It may be used for the synthesis of mono- and diphosphate esters of 2-arachidonyl glyceryl ether.
