What is DECARBOMETHOXY APOCU ANZINE?

Description

Voacanga chalotiana elaborates a large number of alkaloids of which this base is a minor constituent. It is laevorotatory having a specific rotation of [α]D22 - 132° (c 1.0, CHC13). The ultraviolet spectrum in MeOH is quite complex with absorption maxima at 210, 247, 307 and 318 nm and inflexions at 276 and 297 nm.
