What is Betulin-3-acetate?
Biological Activity
3-Acetyl betulin is a pentacyclic triterpenoid and derivative of the cholesterol biosynthesis inhibitor betulin .1,2 It is an intermediate in the synthesis of various lupane and germanicane triterpenes and saponins with anticancer activity.
