Acid red 60 (CAS# 5850-64-6) is organic azo dye used in textiles and inket ink.
Preparation
4-Aminonaphthalene-1-sulfonic acid diazo, and 4,5-Dihydroxynaphthalene-2,7-disulfonic acid?coupling.
Properties and Applications
blue-ray red. Soluble in water for the red, slightly soluble in ethanol for pink. The strong sulfuric acid in blue, diluted into pink. In water solution to join strong hydrochloric acid for the red; Add thick sodium hydroxide solution into purple.
