The Uses of ACID GREEN 41
C.I. Acid Green 41 is a synthetic dye and can be useful in the study of decolorization of textile dyes by microbial laccase. It can also be useful in the genotoxicity assessment of chemical synthetic dyes and their qualitative screening and quantitative determination in foodstuffs.
Preparation
(a) p-Methylaniline and leuco-1,4,5,8-tetrahydroxyanthraquinone?in the presence of arsenic acids and boric acid condensation, stlfonation, and translated into sodium salt; (b) is p-Methylaniline and 1,4-Dichloro-5,8-dihydroxyanthracene-9,10-dione condensation, stlfonation, and translated into sodium salt.
Properties and Applications
green. Green black powder. Soluble in acetone, ethanol, soluble fiber element, o-chlorophenol and pyridine, insoluble in benzene, carbon tetrachloride, chloroform and toluene. Meet strong sulfuric acid is green, diluted into a green light. In insurance powder in the alkaline solution to red. Used for wool, silk and wool fabric dyeing and printing, also can be used for paper color, can also be used in organic pigments. Mainly used for loose hair, tops and yarn, generally used alone.
