7-Deacetilgedunin is a dervative of Gedunin (G303503), a naturally occurring Hsp90 inhibitor. In vitro, Gedunin induces Hsp90-dependent client protein degradation and displays antiproliferative activity. Also an extract from neem seeds and may be responsible for its antibacterial activity.
