General Description
4-(Hydroxymethyl)benzonitrile can be synthesized via hydrosilylation reaction in the presence of Fe complex Bu4N[Fe(CO)3(NO)] [catalyst]. It can also be prepared from 4-(aminomethyl) benzyl alcohol.
