6,7,8,8a-Tetrahydro-2H-naphtho[1,8-bc]furan-2-one is an intermediate used in the synthesis of N-(3S)-1-Azabicyclo[2.2.2]oct-3-yl-5,6-dihydro-1-Naphthalenecarboxamide (A795305), which is an impurity of Palonosetron (P165800), a serotonin 5-HT3 receptor antagonist used in the prevention and treatment of chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting (CINV). Antiemetic.
