Description

Prosapogenin A is one of the important monomers of the extract of Chonglou, which has good anticancer effect. Compared with the currently commonly used antitumor drug oxaliplatin, it has stronger antitumor properties against colon cancer cells and has the potential to be an effective anticolon cancer drug.

Biological Activity

Prosapogenin A, a natural product in Veratrum, induces apoptosis in human cancer cells in vitro by inhibiting the STAT3 signaling pathway and glycolysis.
