2-Bromo-N,N-diethylethylamine hydrobromide is a useful synthetic intermediate. 2-Bromo-N,N-diethylethylamine hydrobromide is also used as a reagent to synthesize benzothiopyranoindazoles, compounds that have anticancer activity, specifically against murine leukemias.
