1,1,2-Triethoxyethane is an intermediate used to synthesize pyrazolopyrimidine derivatives as COX-2 selective inhibitors. It is also used to prepare [(1,2,4-oxadiazolylphenoxy)alkyl]isoxazoles as antiviral agents.
