The Uses of 1-Fluoro-2-iodoethane
1-Fluoro-2-iodoethane is used as a reagent in organic synthesis of several compounds including that of fluorinated U-50488 analogs for PET studies of kappa opioid receptors. It is also used in the synthesis of MK-3168, an imidazole analog which acts as a PET tracer for the imaging of brain fatty acid amide hydrolase.
