Phosphomycin calcium is a white crystalline powder at room temperature, tasteless. Slightly soluble in water, almost insoluble in methanol, insoluble in acetone, chloroform, ether and benzene.
Phosphomycin calcium is mainly used for colibacillosis, salmonellosis, Klebsi disease, swollen head syndrome, staphylococcus and streptococcosis, omphalitis, osteomyelitis, encephalitis, etc. in poultry and pigs, as well as fish and shrimp.
