Bifenthrin

Bifenthrin is a pyrethroid insecticide used primarily against the red imported fire ant by influencing its nervous system. It has a high toxicity to aquatic organisms. Although it is listed as a restricted use chemical in the United States, it is allowed to be sold for daily use, provided the product sold has a low concentration of bifenthrin.

Stable to light, stable in acidic medium, stable at room temperature for a year, but will decompose in alkaline medium

Physical and chemical properties: pure white solid, solubility in water is 0.1mg/ L, soluble in acetone, chloroform, dichloromethane, ether, toluene, heptane.Slightly soluble in pentane and methanol, stable at 25°C for more than 1 year, stored at room temperature, stable for more than 1 year.Stable at PH5-9(21°C) for 21 days and dt50-65-125 days in the soil.Melting point :68-71℃, density D25 1.210, vapor pressure 2.4×10-2 pa at 25℃.
