Terbinafine hydrochloride, also known under the trade name Lamisil, is an antifungal developed by Novartis and Omega Pharma. It is highly hydrophobic and tends to accumulate in hair, skin, nails, and fatty tissue.

Application
Terbinafine hydrochloride is an acrylamide drug with broad spectrum of antifungal activity. This product can specifically interfere with the early biosynthesis of ergosterol, highly selectively inhibit the squalene cyclooxygenase of fungi, and hinder the epoxidation of squalene during the formation of fungal cell membrane, so as to kill or inhibit fungi.
