Butyl stearate is a cold-resistant additive for PVC, widely used in PVC transparent soft board, cable material, artificial leather and calenderized film manufacturing.

Properties: pure white crystal, generally colorless or yellowish waxy solid or liquid.

Solubility: can be miscible with mineral oil and vegetable oil, soluble in ethanol and ether, slightly soluble in water.

Application

1. This product is used as an internal lubricant in the processing of various resins, non-toxic, waterproof and of good thermal stability. Mainly used for PVC transparent soft and hard extrusion, injection molding, calendizing products, 0.5 ~ 1 part.

2. Butyl stearate is not only an ideal cosmetic raw material, but also an important chemical raw material, it can be used as adhesive coordination agent, metal processing lubricant, resin additive, deep defoaming agent, rubber and polyolefin resin plasticizer, is a concrete moistureproof agent, polishing agent composition.

3. Used in lipstick making. As an assistant solvent to improve the solubility of dyes such as eosinic acid, as well as an additive in cosmetics, it is also used as softener in chemical fiber, plastics and rubber, as well as lubricant.
