ChEBI: A pentacyclic triterpenoid that is oleanane which has a double bond between positions 13 and 18, and in which the hydrogen at the 3beta position is replaced by a hydroxy group.
Purification Methods
Purify it through an Al2O3 column and eluting with pet ether (40-60o) then Et2O and recrystallising from pet ether or EtOH.
