Production Description
Behenyl (C22) trimethylammonium methyl sulfate. BTMS is derived from behenic acid extracted from non-genetically modified rapeseed oil and synthesized through a complex scientific process. Because of its unique direct adsorption and antistatic properties, it has a wide range of uses in personal care products. Its functions include wetting, cleaning, conditioning, softening, suspending and emulsifying.
GRECAT BTMS-350 has excellent anti-tangling ability on the hair, and will not accumulate on the hair.
It is by far one of the mildest anti-tangling ingredients.
Mainly used in hair conditioner, shampoo and other products.
