Xanthine (English: xanthine), Chinese alias 3,7-dihydro-1H-purine-2,6-dione, 2,6-dihydroxypurine, xanthine is a widely distributed in human body and other organisms. A purine base in organs and body fluids, often used as a mild stimulant and bronchodilator, especially in the treatment of asthma symptoms.
