Breviscapine is a crude extract of several flavonoids of Erigeron breviscapus ( Vant.) Hand.-Mazz., containing more than 98% of scutellarin, which has been traditionally used in China to improve cerebral blood supply.
Breviscapine has the function of expanding cerebrovascular, reducing cerebrovascular resistance, increasing cerebral blood flow, improving microcirculation, and anti-platelet aggregation.
