Caprylyl salicylic acid is a derivative of salicylic acid and is fat-soluble. Caprylyl salicylic acid is used as a skin conditioner, spot remover and preservative in cosmetics. It is a derivative of salicylic acid with a lipid chain. Compared with salicylic acid and ordinary AHA and other keratin dissolving components, it can penetrate into the stratum corneum and loosen the joints of cells one by one, thereby exerting a more effective micro-exfoliation. The effect makes the skin more delicate and smooth, and blemishes are obviously improved.
Caprylyl salicylic acid is an exfoliating, anti-inflammatory and anti-infective drug. It is used to treat the appearance of dry damaged skin, reduce dry patches/flaking, and restore skin flexibility. This means that it can not only peel off the surface of the skin, but also penetrate deep into the epidermis, removing dead skin cells and excess oil that accumulates in pores. Caprylyl salicylic acid not only maintains the effect of salicylic acid in peeling off aging keratin, but also enhances its affinity with skin cells, making it easier to penetrate into the stratum corneum. How to use: Put caprylyl salicylic acid in the oil phase,heat it to 80°C to dissolve it,and then prepare a cream or lotion according to the conventional process.
