Lidocaine hydrochloride has the characteristics of strong penetration, strong dispersion and quick effect. The anesthetic efficacy is twice as high as procaine, and the toxicity is 1.  The anesthetic effect can appear 5 minutes after administration, and the anesthetic effect can last 1 to 1.5 hours, 50% longer than procaine.  After absorption, it can inhibit central nervous system, restrain ventricular automaticity and shorten refractory period. It can be used to control ventricular tachycardia and treat arrhythmia symptoms such as premature ventricular beat, ventricular tachycardia and ventricular fibrillation.  It is effective for arrhythmias caused by cardiac disease or cardiac glycoside, but not for supraventricular tachycardia.  This product is quick in action, short in duration, ineffective by oral administration, often given intravenously.
