Effect
1. Voronolazan fumarate (TAK-438) belongs to potassium ion (K+) competitive acid blocker (P-CAB), which is a reversible proton pump inhibitor. After this product enters the human body, it is in the stomach wall. The last step of cell acid secretion is to stop the secretion of gastric acid by inhibiting the combination of K+ and H+-K+-ATPase (proton pump) to achieve the acid suppression effect. This product has a strong and long-lasting effect of inhibiting gastric acid secretion.
2. AK-438 is a potassium-competitive acid blocker with oral activity. Its IC50 value for inhibiting H+ and K+-ATPase is 19 nM.
