It has a role as a muscarinic antagonist, a muscle relaxant, an antispasmodic drug, a parasympatholytic, a calcium channel blocker and a local anaesthetic. It is a tertiary amino compound and a racemate. It contains an esoxybutynin and a (R)-oxybutynin.
